Bio
Danielle Cotton is an experienced biology educator and field botanist with a strong background in plant sciences, ecology, and science education. She currently serves as an Instructor at the ÈËÆÞÂÒÂ×’s School of Biological, Environmental, and Earth Sciences, where she teaches Biological Sciences I and II, Botany, Economic Botany, and Mycology, along with coordinating associated labs.
Danielle holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The ÈËÆÞÂÒÂ×. Her graduate research focused on vascular plant diversity at the Lake Thoreau Environmental ÈËÆÞÂÒÂ×. Over the past two decades, she has held various teaching and leadership roles across the university, public schools, and environmental education programs. As a licensed landscape horticulturist and certified biology educator, she brings a unique combination of academic, field, and teaching expertise to her work with students and the community.
