How to Setup Outlook for Mac Office 365

  1. Open Outlook for Mac.
    Step 1 - Open Outlook for Mac
  2. Select "Preferences."
    Step 2 - Select preferences
  3. Select "Accounts."
    Step 3 - Select Accounts
  4. Select "Exchange Account."
    Step 4 - Select Exchange Account
  5. Type in your University email address (first.lastname@usm.edu), user name (w+ID#@usm.edu), and CampusID password. Select "Add Account."
    Step 5 - Enter Exchange account information
  6. You may get a screen like the one depicted below. If so, check "Always use my response for this server" and select "Allow."
    Step 6 - Check Always, then select allow
  7. Now your account should be setup in Outlook.
