Faculty members in The () School of Humanities’ program will make presentations for its fall 2023 and Religion Colloquium Series, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 4 with Dr. Timothy Gutmann, who will present “Examined Lives: Education in Theory and Politics in Imperial China” from 4-5:15 p.m. in the Liberal Building, room 203 on the Hattiesburg campus. These events are free and open to the public.
The remainder of the fall and Religion Colloquium Series includes:
*Wednesday, Nov. 1: Dr. Amy Slagle, “Homegrown Southern Paganism: The Case of Lady
Epona and her Faerie Faith,” 4-5:15 p.m., Liberal Building, room 203.
*Wednesday, Nov. 15: Dr. Michael DeArmey, “Plato’s Symposium and the Quest for an
Essential Definition of Eros,” 4-5:15 p.m., Liberal Building, room 203.
